Histoire d'entretenir le suspens, j'ai demandé àDavid un point sur l'avancement du run :

Hi Stephane!When I don't have to go do my regular job, I have been in production mode making lots of chest box parts! (There are a lot of them that need to be made.)

To be honest, I have spent the past week focusing on making and painting box shells, as well as other painted parts for orders that I have besides the French run, simply because cooler winter temperatures are supposed to be here in a couple days, and I'm going to lose my nice Painting weather.

I also decided to order the machined aluminum parts from Ken, AKA Elvis Trooper so I wouldn't have to machine them myself.

Ken had a delay of some sort, and I only just received them in the mail yesterday. The Tie jacks he makes (the button that mounts next to/below the knurled knob and disc.) are a little smaller than the ones I make. I hope that doesn't bother anyone.

As it stands now, I still need to sand the edges of the acrylic square buttons, and sew the buckles on the straps, and then I'll be assembling boxes. I should have some photos of completed boxes to show you next week, and at least the first package will ship by the end of next week. I plan to ship the second package within a week after.

A small update:Over the weekend we had a significant rain storm and my small workshop got flooded, so I wasn't able to get much done until that mess was cleaned up. I have started assembling the boxes and will have pics very soon.

I'm also still waiting to receive an overdue order of buckles so I can finish the straps. I added a couple of other items to the order to complete my own pilot costume, and that may have delayed things a bit.

The Postal Service is closed down for the holiday and I'll have to delay shipment of the chest boxes until I receive those buckles.

Putain son rouge est absolument magnifique!!!! Stéphane, si c'est faisable, que ça te demande pas trop de temps, et qu'il n'a pas encore commencé la mienne, je pourrais modifier ma commande?

J'avais pris le wedge ROTJ. Je voudrais le même mais en remplaçant les deux boutons bleus par des boutons rouges :)

Si c'est faisable facilement! Sinon laisse tomber :)
